Are You Creative Enough?

This film is about the creative turmoil artists face when creating new work. The need to be unique, innovative, and different then other artists and also our past creations. We are constantly striving to be better and inspire those around us. The frustration and constant judgment we place on ourselves is sometimes more than we can take; so we find ourselves in a type of creative combustion hitting rock bottom, and at “creative rock bottom” we finally experience our art.

Dissociate

This film is inspired by the disconnection of the self from ones surroundings. As humans we are a product of nature, and in the city we are surrounded by a concrete jungle that, like a forest, is ever evolving and growing but completely disconnected from nature.

All For Nothing

(Dance Scene exerpt)

I made this film my sophomore year at Cornish in their Screendance course where I learned to love dance film. I made two versions of this film, this of which is just the movement content, I chose to make two separate versions because I loved to see the dance speak for itself away from the other footage.

All For Nothing is a story that displays the feeling of a one-sided relationship; to give all you have, only to get nothing in return. A draining story of a girl who wishes to be loved fully as she does to her significant others time after time.
